Where technology becomes results
Zetacer operates in various sectors with a single-minded focus: making plants work better, without improvisation. We approach production processes methodically, transforming data and constraints into layout choices and design solutions, and we oversee execution through to commissioning. Whether dealing with new lines or revamping projects, the focus remains the same: production continuity, cost control, and keeping site schedules under control.
Line continuity
Zetacer’s experience is rooted in the ceramics sector, a primary and foundational field where we operate through multiple competencies: layout of new lines and production plants, revamping of machines or segments of plants in production, and customizations for the creation of new products. Every activity includes design, construction, installation, and testing; for the most complex plants, we act as general contractor, both in Italy and abroad. The goal is to ensure economically sustainable production reliability, with measurable and consistent results over time.
Intelligent integration
Diversification and flexibility in mechanical design allow us to collaborate with leading electronics companies and software houses to create automatic machines and plants, tackling new sectoral challenges. In every project, we strive to highlight and propose the best accessibility and operability for the personnel using the equipment and production lines.
Operational robustness
For extraction and excavation activities of raw materials destined for ceramics and glass, we evaluate machines and plants capable of sustaining heavy workloads and high productivity. Particular attention is paid to ensuring routine maintenance operations and the replacement of components subject to wear under safe and practical conditions.
Process efficiency
Comminution and grinding activities for minerals and clays represent a constant for Zetacer, consolidated through ongoing relationships with leading companies in the ceramics and minerals sectors. Over time, we have refined processes to improve the performance and quality of semi-finished and finished products. In particular, with dry grinding and air separators, high-precision micrometric particle sizes are achieved. Our passion for this field is also fueled by a commitment to energy efficiency in the refining of raw materials.
Precision and safety
Environmental issues related to waste production require concrete solutions to transform waste into reusable raw materials within the economic cycle. The recovery of glass waste is a commitment we have pursued for many years. Recovered glass gains value as a secondary raw material through processes of comminution, washing, drying, color differentiation, grinding, and particle size selection. In many of these phases, Zetacer has gained practical experience with major companies in the sector.
Standards and repeatability
In the automotive sector, Zetacer has designed, built, and installed various plants for glass tempering and bending, for both continuous and discontinuous lines. The experience acquired enhances our ability to collaborate with all the key players of these complex plants: electronics engineers, software developers, wiring specialists, and testers.
Sustainable reliability
In this sector, we have carried out the design of environmental filters for kilns, dust extraction systems for comminution plants, and the treatment of waste materials. The growing sensitivity of companies in the district toward operator safety and environmental well-being has required the design, construction, and installation of dedicated structures and systems. These activities, developed in close collaboration with company safety managers, include the analysis of critical issues for each machine, verification of operational accessibility, design, construction, and installation up to final approval by the client.
Clean flows
In the food sector, we have intervened with the design of storage, weighing-dosage, transport, and mixing plants for flour and cereals, following the strictest criteria for hygiene and suitability for food contact, taking care of every detail to facilitate subsequent FCM (Food Contact Materials) compliance.
