Objective
To ensure reliable powder transfer from the milling plant to the silo battery, and transform storage into an active process stage: extracting, dosing and mixing continuously to feed the presses regularly, reducing operational variability and issues related to interruptions or flow misalignments.
Implementation
The project involved the implementation of the powder transport line from the milling plant to a silo battery located in an adjacent facility, ensuring a functional connection between the two production areas. To complete the system, extraction management from the silos was integrated with a dedicated section for dosing and mixing, ensuring the delivery to the presses of controlled material consistent with pressing requirements. The entire system was designed to ensure continuous flow from the milling department to tile formation, with particular attention to the integration between storage, extraction and press battery feeding.
