Ceramic Factory – Peru
Country: Peru
Scope: Complete ceramic factory construction (tile production)
Material origin: Refurbished second-hand machinery/equipment
Downstream management: Plant installation and preparation for commissioning/start-up
Application: Tile production line
Focus: Plant execution sequence before roofing and start-up reliability
Objective
To build a tile production facility in an area without established industrial infrastructure, meeting client requirements and ensuring process reliability, manageable site logistics, and commissioning timelines compatible with the investment plan.
Implementation
Zetacer managed the plant construction starting from the refurbishment and requalification of second-hand machinery and components, defining layout, connections, and provisions to make the assembly coherent and installable under “open site” conditions. In a context where it never rains, execution was planned to complete the plant infrastructure first (structures, machinery, connections, and main lines) and install partial roofing afterward, then completing alignments, functional checks, and commissioning preparation. The project is documented with before/during/after photographic sequences, useful for showing the actual site evolution and the transformation of the area into an operational facility.
