Objective
To restore and enhance the performance of a continuous mill dedicated to CaCO₃, ensuring more stable particle size distribution, greater operational reliability, and more efficient process management (feeding, grinding, classification, and discharge), while reducing waste and plant downtime.
Implementation
Zetacer managed the revamping design and functional update of the line, addressing critical points in the grinding circuit and material flows to improve feeding regularity and yield repeatability. The project involved optimizing the integration between the continuous mill and the classification/conveying system, using control logic more consistent with production needs to make the plant more stable, manageable, and ready for future upgrades.
